Song Lyrics and words

(Note: The Lyrics differ a little from the book)

Little Bunny FuFu (Foo Foo)

Little bunny foo-foo, (hold up two fingers)
hopping through the forest (bounce your hand up and down)
Scooping up the field mice, (make a scooping motion with hand) and bopping them on the head. (slap top of fist with palm)
(Spoken)
Then down came the Good Fairy, and she said:
Little Bunny Foo-Foo, (wag forefinger - "no-no")
I don't wanna see you (wag forefinger - "no-no")
Scooping up the field mice, (scooping motion with hand)
and bopping them on the head. (slap top of fist with palm)
(spoken)
I'll give you 3 chances,
and if you don't behave,
I'll turn you into a Goon!
Little bunny foo-foo,
hopping through the forest
Scooping up the field mice,
and bopping them on the head.
(Spoken)
Then down came the Good Fairy, and she said:
Little Bunny Foo-Foo,
I don't wanna see you
Scooping up the field mice,
and bopping them on the head.
(spoken)
I'll give you 2 chances,
and if you don't behave,
I'll turn you into a Goon!
Little bunny foo-foo,
hopping through the forest
Scooping up the field mice,
and bopping them on the head.
(Spoken)
Then down came the Good Fairy, and she said:
Little Bunny Foo-Foo,
I don't wanna see you
Scooping up the field mice,
and bopping them on the head.
(spoken)
I'll give you 1 more chance,
and if you don't behave,
I'll turn you into a Goon!
Little bunny foo-foo,
hopping through the forest
Scooping up the field mice,
and bopping them on the head.
(Spoken)
Then down came the Good Fairy, and she said:
Little Bunny Foo-Foo,
I don't wanna see you
Scooping up the field mice,
and bopping them on the head.
POOF! You're a goon!
(Spoken)
And the moral of the story is:

Hare today, goon tomorrow!

That Night

The Loundroom. 6pm. Tv on low in the background

As she finishes the last of the washing up:

Leonie
" Tarra it's time for bed "

Her head lifts up from lying on her daddy's lap, eyes half asleep:

Tarra
" yay, story time "

As they walk together to Tarra’s bedroom, Tarra is tucked tightly Into her bed. Daddy kisses her good night. Mummy dims the Light:

Leonie
" Now Tarra, how about we read your new storybook you got off Aunty Cathy tonight?"

Tarra
"No mummy, don't be a silly billy, I want to read Rabbit foo foo"

Tarra takes out a fairly new, but slightly tatted looking book from under her pillow. With a slight sigh from mummy, together they begin reading Tarra's new favourite story book.

Meanwhile, Daddy is listening in from the corner of the room, a little surprised because his little girl appears to be reading the book, reading along as each page is turned.
